It can be hard to know where to turn if you have a problem with alcohol addiction. Many drinkers know that they need help, but don’t know where to start. You may feel alone and scared, and that no one around you understands what you are going through. You may want to turn back to alcohol and put your recovery in jeopardy.
Alcoholics Anonymous of Los Angeles
That’s why Alcoholics Anonymous of Los Angeles is here to help. We are a group of people who all have one thing in common: a desire to be sober. Sometimes, the only other person who can understand what you’re going through is another drinker.
Our group meetings help individuals work on their recovery in a safe, supportive environment. We encourage discussion and sharing so that you can come to term with your drinking, forgive yourself, and begin to heal.
Welcome To All
We are not an exclusive group. The only membership requirement we have is wanting to quit drinking. Aside from that, everyone is welcome, no matter your race, nationality, or sexual orientation. We’re self-funded, though we don’t charge any membership fees. All of our contributions are made by people that want to help.
We help drinkers through group therapy. Here, you’ll discuss your problems with others going through the same experience, and learn the skills needed to cope without alcohol.
Making the decision to quit drinking is a difficult one, and one of the most difficult steps in the recovery process. That’s why we’re here for you. Our meetings will give you the support you need to begin the road to recovery, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
